She sleeps the sleep eternal

We took Jess to the Vet tonight, that last trip I hate so much. She didn't want to go, tried to bite the vet and pulled the needle out once but he showed me where the tumours were in her lymph glands. I took her for a walk today and she was confused by a stand of long grass. Once she was sooooo fast on the beach. Like a rocket. She was 3k lighter than her last visit.
For 18 years she was my shadow, day or night (and I was her doorman )
Either I am still in shock or I have been seeing it coming so long that I have already done my grieving.

She was, in all ways a good dog
