My second entry for 's Obscurijam and my first bit of Ray Harryhausen fan art
To begin with I wanted to do some undead and I was going to do the Lord of the Nazgul but I decided that he wasn't obscure enough so I changed it to one of the skeleton warriors from Jason and the Argonauts.
If I had gone with the Nazgul I would have only had to paint a skull which is hard enough and not have to do a pelvis and that rib cage (skeletons are not my best thing). I could have hid it all under robes and I'm not that sure this guy is all that obscure anywho now that I think about it.
